Bexleyheath Shopping Centre
The scheme is a major refurbishment and extension of the existing premier shopping centre in Bexleyheath town centre in South East London. The centre comprises of 500,000sq.ft of retail space with 60 retail units and 1200 car parking spaces.
Our work included the introduction of double height arcades with natural daylighting from new rooflights into the internal malls. The external facade of the building was remodelled with the introduction of first floor frameless glazing into the new shop units and double height glazed entrance areas.
The interiors of the malls were refurbished with new wall and ceiling finishes and lighting, as well as remodelling of the Shopping Malls sight lines and pedestrian flows.
All construction work was carried out while the mall remained fully operational, without a single day of trading lost from any of the retail units.
